The Colombian tourism exhibition is opening to the world in the version XXXI. Ecuador will be the guest and show its four worlds in a stand of 500 square meters.
Bogota, February 14, 2012. - Ecuador is the invited country to the Tourism exhibition version XXXI, the third largest tourism fair in Latin America to be held from February 29th to March 2nd in Corferias. The neighboring country will show its potential for tourism under the slogan

The Barranquilla Carnival by its variety and cultural wealth, has won two major awards: "National Cultural Heritage", in a statement issued by the National Congress of Colombia on November 26th, 2001, and "Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity ", issued by UNESCO in Paris on November 7th, 2003. It is the largest folk festival in Barranquilla and one of the most recognized in Colombia, where over a million and half people, visitors and locals participate annually in this colorful Carnival, which takes place from Saturday until Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, usually in February.
